heirlooms is a series of mixed media wall sculptures reimagining the classical cameo portrait through a contemporary lens. nine shades of brown, nine hairstyles, nine distinct face shapes — each silhouette set against a hand-painted earth tone ground with gold frame detailing. deliberate, regal, and unapologetically present. the cameo has always been a symbol of refinement and remembrance. heirlooms asks who gets to be remembered that way, and refuses to wait for permission.
